PRINT GALLERY IMAGE INTRODUCTION
The first three galleries presented here are comprised into Black and White image categories of Landscape, Abandoned in Place, and Whispering Trees. They are a collection of photographs taken over the past thirty years, and all are taken in 4" x 5" film format. The Landscape section is a collection of Nature's majesty. The Abandoned in Place section includes buildings such as former prisons, defense installations, and other man-made structures. The omnipresent trees seem to appear wherever I travel and encompass the Whispering Trees section.
The Color Image section is devoted to more recent work using digital photography. While my main interest remains large format black and white traditional photography, I enjoy doing digital color work where and when the subject matter warrants.
The Kenya galleries represent a departure from my traditional work. I've always wanted to do wildlife photography, and the opportunity presented itself in 2022 with a trip to Kenya. This required different equipment and methodology, but I truly enjoyed this opportunity to diverse myself photographically.
The Recent Work Gallery section capsulizes work in both Black and White and Color from 2022-2024. Black and White work from my most recent 2024 trip is still being processed and the pages will be updated as darkroom conditions permit.
The hope is that one will enjoy the presentations.
